Deployment Scenarios
i3 Systems deployments reduce the development and operational costs of data networks.
i3 Systems is working on documenting typical deployment scenarios that overview how capex and opex costs come into play when an organization considers (1) deploying their IT systems based on a silo-based architecture, (2) deploying a first generation data infrastructure, or (3) deploying a forward-looking data infrastructure such as the i3 System. These scenarios are not intended to be specific to any one company but will contain sufficient detail to allow an interested company to explore their deployment specifics. As these deployment scenarios are completed, they will be posted here.
This deployment scenario considers the situation where a CIO is under pressure to reduce costs on legacy systems in order to increase spending on new projects. The CIO does an analysis of operational costs associated with a limited number of legacy systems and then consideres how an i3 System approach based on data fabrics might be a possible solution to their problem.
